Motif ("the Software") is made by Khayam ("I", "me"). By installing or using Motif you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. Free licence

I grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Motif on computers you own or control, for personal or commercial work.

2. Your designs are yours

Everything you create with Motif (designs, exported images, After Effects scripts and projects) belongs to you. I claim no rights in your work and never receive a copy of it.

3. What you may not do

• Sell, rent, lend or charge for Motif itself, or bundle it with something you sell.
• Redistribute Motif except by linking to the official download page.
• Remove or change copyright notices, or present Motif as your own.
• Decompile, reverse-engineer or modify the Software, except where the law allows it regardless of this agreement, and except for the open-source components under their own licences.
• Use Motif to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.

4. Your content and third-party material

You are responsible for everything you bring into Motif and everything you make with it, including pictures, fonts, Figma files and logos. Make sure you have the rights to use them.

The built-in UI Kit, templates and icons may be used in your designs. They contain no real company logos. Any resemblance to a real product's interface is generic. Names such as Adobe, After Effects, Figma, iPhone and Android are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Motif is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Adobe, Figma, Apple, Google or any other company.

5. Third-party apps and services

Motif can send scripts to Adobe After Effects and, when you choose, read files from Figma using your own Figma token. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms. I am not responsible for them, for changes to them, or for their availability.

6. Open-source components

Motif includes open-source software (see Help → Third-Party Licences in the app). Those licences apply to those components, and nothing here limits your rights under them.

7. Updates

I may release new versions, change features or stop offering Motif at any time. Motif does not update itself and does not contact any server to check for updates.

8. No warranty

MOTIF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. I DO NOT WARRANT THAT MOTIF WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT EXPORTS WILL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME IN OTHER APPLICATIONS, OR THAT IT WILL NOT LOSE DATA. KEEP BACKUPS OF YOUR WORK.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, WORK, PROFITS, REVENUE OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE MOTIF, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. MY TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR MOTIF, WHICH IS ZERO, OR USD 10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits. In those places, the limits apply as far as the law allows.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify me against claims arising from content you create, import or publish with Motif, or from your breach of these terms.

11. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends, stop using Motif and delete it. Sections 2, 4 and 8–13 survive.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Pakistan, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.

13. Everything else

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Motif. Contact: thekh4yam@gmail.com.
